7 - 10 amPan Fish and Catfish Tournament
Ages 3-9, 10-15, 16-21, and 22+. Cost will $5 for
ages 16+. Prizes for heaviest fish in each fish class
per age group as well as prize for most fish caught.
Boats allowed.
9 am The Albia Games (Held at Albia City Park) Swim meet (200 Medley Relay, 50 Short Freestyle, 50
Breaststroke, 50 Butterfly, 50 Backstroke, 100 Individual
Medley, 100 Freestyle, 100 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay
- 8U lengths are 25 meters) Alumni Soccer Tennis Tournament Frisbee Golf
10:30 am Volleyball Tournament Team of at least 8 people and must be boy/girl team
(minimum of 3 girls). Call Albia Area Chamber of
Commerce or Deb Zaputil (641-777-3636). Entry fee
$20/team. Teams need to arrive by 10 am.
10:30 - 8 pm Bounce House
Two children's bounce houses with rock climbing
wall in between.
11 amCanoe Rental $5 per 1/2 hour all day until races begin.
1 pm Children's Games Needle-in-the-Haystack, Scavenger Hunt,
Hula-Hoop, Gunny Sack Race, Frisbee Contest,
Fireworks Walk, Craft Time
3 - 6 pmBingo 25 cents per card, cash prizes
4:30 pm Watermelon Eating Contest
6:30 pm Canoe Races
Dark FIREWORKS Display
Food served from Jim & Charlie's from 11 am throughout the day and night. (They serving hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, chips and pop as well as a variety of drinks.)
Proceeds will go to next year's fireworks.
