An Open Letter to Albia & Monroe County Businesses

Dear Albia/Monroe County Business

On July 25th, Albia will celebrate 'Ag and Industry' week as part of the
Sesquicentennial Celebration.  KIIC is excited to be helping with the events surrounding this weekend which will feature a customized mini-putt golf course on the courthouse lawn!

In an effort to promote and recognize our area businesses and industries, we are asking you to design and build one of the mini-putt golf holes.   The public will then have the opportunity to converge on the courthouse lawn Saturday July 25th for the most unique and exciting mini-putt golf course of its kind - built by you!

If we can convince you to design and build a hole, your business will be
featured on that hole, which will include signage telling about your company -  the products or services you provide, or possibly the states or countries you do business in.    The hole itself may be customized with your products or designed in such a way to help people understand what it is you do. This event is tailored to be not only fun - but a way to educate people about our local businesses and industries!

We think that this project (much like building a parade float) will get you
and your employees excited and engaged to create something interesting, or challenging, or unique.  Prizes will be awarded to businesses in multiple categories for their golf hole - and prizes will also be awarded to the public for their participation.

In order to let your mind wander, we aren't creating very many rules or
limitations on what you can or can't build...

If you are interested in participating, please go to your email RIGHT NOW and send an email to 'golf@kiicradio.com' to let us know you're joining us to create a unique, fun and exciting event  - envied by other communities who will say 'why didn't we think of that'?  Don't worry right now what your mini-putt hole will look like - just focus on getting started!  Go to 'golf@kiicradio.com' and tell us I'M IN!
