Our summer celebration begins with "Rodders & Choppers" on June 27 and culminates with Restoration Days, August 20-22. In between, 7 weekends are dedicated to the themes that reflect the heritage of Albia and Monroe County... Join us in making history!
Honoring the past...
- To provide formal & informal opportunities to learn about the history of Albia & Monroe County, Iowa
- To showcase our heritage through publications, tours, visits, rides, etc.
- To offer events/activities for folks of all ages to "come back home" to Albia & Monroe County
- To promote Albia & Monroe County as a place to live for young families, retirees, etc.
- To promote future building & other projects in Albia & Monroe County
- To provide a springboard for ongoing perennial celebrations
- To create lasting partnerships amongst industry, communities, and organizations
